    MISSION STATEMENT

    The world needs people who can solve problems. Since 2002, the Bend Science Station has provided hands-on laboratory experiences for over 35,000 Kindergarten through 12th grade students and their teachers. The Science Station empowers young scientists by engaging them with the tools they need to be successful problem solvers, teaching them that science is a way to answer questions for the rest of their lives.

    Give to inspire a generation of youth to make substantial contributions to the world and to their own future success. Your donation will go directly to support laboratory-based science programs for the youth and teachers of Central Oregon, including scholarships.

    MISSION STATEMENT

    For the past 16 years, BendFilm has celebrated independent film’s unique power to enrich lives, educate future storytellers, amplify diverse voices and inspire change, all while bringing thoroughly entertaining festival experiences to the Central Oregon community. We need your continued support to bring the life-transforming power of culture to more Central Oregonians. Throughout the 2019 year, BendFilm has:

    • Hosted more than 100 emerging and established filmmakers from all over the globe.

    • Injected more than $1,000,000 into the local economy.

    • Expanded the Indigenous and women filmmaker program in Madras and Bend.

    - Injected more than $1,000,000 into the local economy.

    • Supported the careers of artists at all levels through financial and promotional assistance.

    • Presented our second IndieWoman of the Year Award in honor of Pamela Hulse Andrews to Academy-nominated producer, Christine Vachon.

    • Produced a short film to help Healthy. Beginnings tell their inspirational and life-changing story through the art form of film.

    MISSION STATEMENT

    Since 1999, Bethlehem Inn has been committed to transforming lives with shelter, help and hope. We believe in the worth of every human being and know that when people have the right tools, they can reclaim their dignity and return to a life of self-sufficiency. As the largest emergency shelter in Central and Eastern Oregon, we provide a warm, safe place to sleep, three nourishing meals each day, and services for an average of 110 adults and children every night.
